Hi Björn,

Hi James,
normally not - I tried both iOS and Android on a local test system with http://ip-address:port - it worked.
Regards,
Björn
Thanks Björn,
Strange. Tried on iPad and iPhone, both connection error.
The Paperless app connects without a problem.

The Error-Message is useless - my fault. I will add in the next version 0.5.8 more information on failure. Next we can debug.
Good Morning James,
0.5.8 is released - can you take a look?
Thanks,
Björn
Thanks Björn!
As soon as I see the update I let you know.
Hi Björn,
this is the error.
I am sure ip-address:port is right, because Paperless uses the same.

Good Morning James,
Thanks for the technical details. I see that your iPhone is connected to wifi (no vpn etc). Your setup appears to be a local (home) network, where the server / paperless-ngx instance is hosted within the network.
In my home lab this setup works (iPhone - router - paperless-ngx instance). Could you please verify whether it also works for you by opening the URL in Safari?
Thanks,
Björn
Morning!
Thans, yes, I Access it always local.

it is running on an Unraid server.

Hi Björn,
Pffff, solved..
In the settings I saw the app was not permitted to access the local network.
Can't remember I formidabel this.
Anyway, the app looks good, if you are looking for someone to translate It to Dutch, let me know.
Great to hear! Maybe I can read this "denied" and display some advice. Will check that!
Dutch Translation would be great - will think about it.
Cheers
Björn
