Android: Custom Fields not displayed properly

Hallo Björn,

in version 0.5.6 (11.01.2026) paperless-ngx custom fields (Benutzerdefinierte Felder) do not display properly in meta data (Metadaten) view: I have a field "Jahr" added to the document and assigned the value "2025". On mobile client it displays "Jahr: 15".

Viele Grüße aus Mittelhessen,

Sven

Good Morning Sven,

I need more information here. I have a test setup in which I use a custom field named year to simulate something like "tax year". Everything works there.

Can you briefly tell me how the field is created like data type and, if found, if the ID of the custom field is 15?

The paperless-ngx version would also be helpful. Then I'll retest it.

Thanks
Björn

Good Morning Björn,

the mentioned field is a selection field with pre-defined values to choose via drop-down and the field ID is 4.

I made another test with two fields of the same type: it seems that the mobile app displays the number of the selected preset (count starts with 0) instead of its value (e.g. year "2025" is position 15 therefore it displays "15" instead of "2025").

Viele Grüße aus Mittelhessen, Sven

Good morning Sven,

alright - maybe I got it. I tried something in 0.5.7 - can you test it? :)

Thanks,
Björn
