Documents shared with PaperNext are not processed

The PaperNext app is registered as both a PDF viewer and a share target. The share function works as expected. When opening a PDF via the viewer registration, the app starts but no further processing takes place. Expected behaviour: When opening a PDF via the viewer registration, the file is loaded and displayed in PaperNext. Actual behaviour: The app starts but no further action takes place.
