Thanks to all PaperNext beta users for the strong feedback on v0.3.2. Here is a brief summary of the feedback on version 0.3.2 so far.
Custom title during scanning
The keyboard no longer hides the input. The view adjusts automatically and the Done button closes the keyboard.
Storage path dropdown
If no paths are configured, the dropdown now states it clearly: “No storage paths configured.”
Filters with custom fields
Boolean, text, and numeric custom fields now work reliably in saved views.
Logout
Several users asked, but the logout option was already there. It is in the account section of the settings, marked in red and easy to access.
Scanner preview overlap
System UI no longer obstructs edit or upload buttons.
Tag search
Large tag sets can be filtered via a search field.
Multiple document types
Selecting several document types at once is now supported.
Scanner multi-page mode
A dedicated toggle enables multi-page scanning. Users can add pages or exit the mode explicitly. No ambiguous “Done” action.
mTLS support
Thanks to Sven: Forum Topic
v0.4.0 adds certificate import (P12/PFX), secure on-device storage and filtering of irrelevant internal certificates.
Multiple HTTP headers
Servers that require multiple custom headers are now fully supported. Headers can be added, edited, and applied in parallel.
